How we make money
How we make money, and why it does not compromise the Mufti's reviews.
We tell you the full revenue model up front. The Mufti review pipeline is firewalled from any of these revenue streams. His tier assignments cannot be bought, and the reasons for each tier are public.
Revenue streams
Six lines of revenue.
01
Featured placements
Providers pay for high-visibility placement on category hubs. Featured slots are clearly labeled and have no effect on Mufti tier assignment.
02
Referral fees from providers
When a user is matched with a provider via Get Matched and starts an application, the provider pays a referral fee. Match scoring is based on user fit, not fee size.
03
Mufti certification fees
Providers seeking a full Mufti review pay a certification fee. The fee covers contract review time. The fee does NOT determine the outcome. Tier 1 is earned, not purchased. Failed reviews keep the fee.
04
Premium Mufti consultations
Users can submit personalized questions and receive a faster signed response from Mufti Saad. The premium tier purchases turnaround speed from the Mufti himself, never an AI-drafted answer.
05
Investment platform fees
On listed opportunities, sponsors pay listing and AUM fees. The same Mufti review gate applies regardless of fee. Only deals that pass both team underwriting and Mufti review are listed.
06
Newsletter sponsorships
Sponsors pay for newsletter ad placements. Sponsored content is clearly labeled and never carries Mufti Saad's byline.
The firewall
Mufti Saad has zero commercial conflict.
He is compensated independently of provider fees, certification fees, or investment platform fees. His tier assignments cannot be influenced by spend. Pages publicly record his sign-off date and the reason for each tier.
What we never do
·
Pay-for-Tier-1: Tier 1 is contract review by the Mufti, not a paid badge.
·
Sponsored Mufti rulings: rulings carry his byline only when he authored or approved them through the corpus pipeline.
·
Hidden affiliate links: every referral link is disclosed. Featured slots are visibly labeled.
·
Tier downgrade as a sales tactic: providers cannot buy promotion or threat-of-demotion. The criteria in ADR-0005 are public.
·
AI-drafted Mufti content: per MUFTI_CONTENT_POLICY.md, no content under his name originates from AI generation.
