Some provider listings are paid featured placements. They are labeled with a "Featured" pill on the listing card. Featured placement does not affect Mufti tier assignment.
Referral fees
When you start an application with a provider via the Get Matched flow, the provider may pay HalalRates a referral fee. This is disclosed here in aggregate; per-provider arrangements are not individually disclosed but never affect Mufti tier or order of recommendations beyond suitability criteria.
Certification fees
Providers seeking a full Mufti review (Tier 1 or Tier 2 process) pay a certification fee that covers Mufti contract review time. The fee is a flat charge and does not determine the outcome. Tier 1 is earned, not purchased. Failed reviews keep the fee.
Investment platform fees
On listed investment opportunities, sponsors pay listing and AUM fees. Mufti review is a hard prerequisite; these fees do not buy listing.
Newsletter sponsorships
Newsletter sponsorships are clearly labeled in the email. Sponsored content never carries Mufti Saad's byline.
The firewall
Mufti Saad is compensated independently of any of the above. His tier assignments cannot be influenced by spend. Pages publicly record his sign-off date and the reason for each tier.
